Ashaunna K. Ayars is a seasoned marketing executive and the founder of The Ayars Agency, a boutique firm specializing in brand strategy, 360 marketing, talent strategy, and content development- with clients including Netflix, Paramount, and Prime Video.
With over two decades of experience, she has worked with some of the biggest names in music, sports, and culture. Before launching her agency, Ashaunna held executive roles at Def Jam Recordings and Warner Music Group, where she led marketing campaigns for artists like Janet Jackson, Young Jeezy, Jill Scott, and the Roc a Fella, Murder Inc, and Ruff Ryder label groups.
She is also the co-founder of Mary J. Blige’s Strength of a Woman Festival, an annual celebration of Black culture and women’s empowerment. In addition to her marketing expertise, Ashaunna is a content creator and producer with credits on projects for Lifetime and Prime Video, expanding her influence in the entertainment and media landscape.
